MAKE A PLEDGE Think
global, pledge local! We are enthusiastically accepting pledges from ten
dollars to ten cents per mile. All money raised during this adventure will
be donated to the regional members of Waterkeeper Alliance, http://www.waterkeeper.org/ which is
a grassroots advocacy organization with 161 local clean water advocates,
patrolling and protecting everyone's right to clean water. Help us, help
you, help your local Waterkeeper program.

PLAN AN EVENT WITH US. Plan an event with
the Beach Walk Team as we pass through your coastal region. We have a
strong team that can help you coordinate a community event for maximum
impact. Our goal is to help Schools, Sport Stores, and Environmental
Organizations deliver events that inspire youth in your community to become
active in outdoor recreation and protect our watersheds. Some events we can
help organize.
Beach Clean-up/Beach Days:
Children and youth play beach games, try wind/water
sports and learn about protecting their local watersheds.
Demo and Free Clinic Days:
Children and youth learn new sports and learn about
protecting their local watersheds.
Eco-Tours:
Children and youth tour a local watershed and learn
about protecting their local watersheds.
Presentation and Show:
Members of the Beach Walk team visit schools, stores,
and community centers to share stories about the Beach Walk and many other
outdoor adventures. Local environmental groups will talk with the children
and youths about protecting their local watersheds.
Come walk with us! We
have many volunteers already pledging to walk with us for a few hours or a
few days. We would love to have your company and support. We invite all
school groups, community groups and companies to kick off your shoes for a
walk on the beach with us.
