March 24, 2008. One local couple has made a three-year commitment to
promoting clean water awareness. Whether by foot or by kayak, Beachwalk
Project is taking Bob and Evelyn Weinman around coastlines on the United
States mainland to raise awareness for the protection of everyone's right
to clean water.

of the stateside Beachwalk Project met with several volunteers this morning
for a beach clean up at Tanguisson Beach. "If you go down to Tumon
Bay, it's beautiful, its nice," Weinman said. "But then you
come into these hidden spots where its not obvious, you see all this
trash. Since Ive been here, a lot of people are pointing the finger
at this group or that group or (the government of Guam) but to me, every
one of us is responsible for cleaning up this mess."

Beachwalk Project has brought its message of everyone's right to clean
water to Guam and will be participating in a host of events this weekend.

Martinez: February 18, 2008. GUAM - After undertaking a 1,600-mile journey
by kayak and by foot up the Atlantic coastline, the members of the
stateside Beach Walk Project will be making their way to Guam to help raise
clean water awareness. The group's arrival, scheduled for the end of March,
will be a welcomed return home for former Guam resident Evelyn Prog Weinman
who developed her appreciation and respect for the world's waters growing
up on the island's shores.

Away. - No wild partying. No gorging on mom's home cooking. No
sleeping late. How about a spring break that's not all about you? We wanted
to know what college students and professors were doing this week as
campuses shut down. So we asked at several Oregon universities whether
anyone planned anything unusual.
Marianas Variety Perez, Pangelinan finish
paddling relay first overall - March 25, 2008. GUAM-THE GUAM Kayak
and Canoe Federation held the Eastside Paddling Relay in the Outrigger 1
and 2 disciplines this past Saturday. A special participant in the event
was Robert Weinman of the Beachwalk Project, who is on island to promote
clean water awareness, preservation of major coastlines, environmental
awareness and the unity of coastal communities.
Marianas Variety Beachwalk Project coming to
Guam - February 13, 2008. GUAM-Evelyn and Robert Weinman, the core
members of the Beachwalk Project, will be on Guam from March 20 to April 6.
Beachwalk Project is a 3-year, clean water awareness project which will
travel the major coastlines of the United States by foot and kayak. They
will be on island to share stories of their adventures, encourage advocacy
for clean water and inspire participants in their upcoming events that will
benefit local programs in Guam.

will listen as they travel by foot and kayak up America's East Coast:

answer: A sandcastle.

Beachwalk Project in South Jersey - May 31, 2007. Two men, on a
mission to raise awareness about keeping the Atlantic Ocean clean, paddle
their kayaks from Miami to Manhattan. A quick stop in South Jersey allows
them to spread the word in Wildwood, and locals about their journey, which
has enabled the travelers to see the country's coast, meet new people, and
swim with dolphins.
The Press of Atlantic City Trek from Miami to
N.Y. aims for awareness about clean water, coast - by Derek
Harper: June 8, 2007. Two guys started paddling and walking from Miami to
New York back in February. On June 1 they reached Atlantic City. The point
of The Beach Walk Project is to raise funds and publicize the importance of
clean shores and water.

raises awareness for Waterkeeper Alliance - June 5, 2007. A trip
with purpose -- to raise awareness for Waterkeeper Alliance, an
organization that advocates for clean water and encourages others to become
stewards for the waterways in their communities.
